This post is labeled under Digital Design
As part of Computer Science curriculum, I feel obliged to provide support information that would help students in taking up Digital Design course.
Though this won’t be a sort of logic gates tutorial, I would prefer students to make use of the resource material I am providing through experiments. This is the same material (which I also drafted) that I am using in teaching Digital Design (Laboratory) course.
We must first understand the principle behind the operation of logic gates. One may fail to learn half adder, multiplexer, flip flop unless one fully understood the foundation of its circuits. Basic gates are AND gate, OR GATE and NOT gate.
The document below introduces also the use of surface mount prototype board (or simply prototyping board, breadboard to others) and Light Emitting Diode circuit (LED) in electronics project and experiment.

Logic Gates Experiment 1
In discussing the theoretical aspect, the said experiment would make use of Truth Table in proving theorems of Boolean Algebra. This type of experiment would come in series as we complete the Digital Design course.
Hope this helps and please let me know if you have comments or find it useful.

sir where is the experiment # 2?
ReplyDeleteLook on my Recent post with title NAND and NOR Gates circuits
ReplyDeletesir, how do we find out if the answer is correct ?
ReplyDeletesir, we can't download the pdf file
