Boolean Algebra Theorems in Digital Design

Boolean algebra theorems are effective in simplifying circuit designs. Engineers and scientist alike used boolean algebra expressions in order to save and simplify the logic of the design.

On some instances, circuit designers may lack AND or OR IC packages on their circuit project. They employ De Morgan's theorem to convert a AND circuit to OR circuit and vice versa with the use of boolean algebra complement.

The following laboratory document used experiment to further understand the principles behind boolean algebra identities. It helps explain the duality of the circuit, distributive law, absorption law, and De Morgan's theorem to name a few.

  1. Sir, maybe its a good idea to upload the pdf file on some file uploading site (i.e. Mediafire.com which I strongly prefer) so students dont get to have troubles in case scribd moves into a maintenance period. Such as now.. Hope my idea helps.

  2. I will look into that suggestion of yours. I also experienced long ago the trouble you've been through. But looking on the brighter side, ScribD needs to maintenance much often because of popularity among visitors. When I found the site, they have only 50 million uploaded documents. Now, 60 million is less than 2 months. Does Mediafire.com experience the same number of uploading documents? Does the site need to reindex its content more often because of plenty viewers/uploaders?
